Swedish artist with a fascination with spiritualism

Hilma af Klint was a Swedish artist, anthroposophist and pioneer in what we know today as abstract art. Hilma af Klint was born in 1862 at Karlbergs Slott in the Swedish metropolis Stockholm, and in her youth she was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts specializing in painting. Hilma af Klint’s style is characterized by her fascination with the invisible in the world. This fascination arose with the flow of spiritual societies, such as spiritualism, theosophy and anthroposophy. Her fascination is evident in her abstract works, which are recognized by far too few people around the world.

Put colours in your home

With Hilma af Klint’s beautiful, abstract works, you add an unmatched touch of vibrant energy and worm colours to your home. For example, see the classic, colourful poster “HILMA AF KLINT”, which with its pastel colours and round shapes has a soft and welcoming expression. The poster is perfect for the large, naked and white wall of the living room of summer cottage. There, the poster will light up the room without it becoming too violent and overpowering compared to other interiors. The poster can also be purchased in a fine wooden frame, which is available in black wood, natural oak, dark oak and magnetic oak frame. All the other posters of Hilma af Klint are also available with a frame.
