Health Advertising
Poster drawn by E.B. Smith as one of Frederiksberg Swimming Pool Street posters, who were to advertise the swimming pool and its steam bath.
The posters were part of the health wave that was initiated in the beginning of the century and had resulted in a large number of bathing establishments.
The poster here became an important factor in the spread of the health propaganda, where many of the largest Danish poster artists participated, for example, Aage Sikker Hansen, Sven Brasch, Thor Bøgelund and Arne Ungermann.
