Since the opening of Tivoli in Copenhagen in 1843, the world-famous amusement garden's adventurous universe has been depicted on posters a tradition that today is continued by some of the best Danish artists.

Bo Bonfils (b. 1941) poster from 1982 is an evocative depiction of Tivoli as the epitome of dreams and adventurous enchantment.
With a greeting to Ib Andersen's classic balloon swing poster from 1943 is seen at the top a freely floating carousel horse among moon and stars on the evening sky over Tivoli, at the bottom of the silhouettes of some of the garden's famous and beloved rides.
