By cartoonist and illustrator Dominique Jal who is French and educated at the Academy of Arts in Lyon. He has lived in Copenhagen for 15 years and worked freelance for as long as the largest communication agencies in Denmark.
The third and present Christiansborg was built 1907-28 by architect Thorvald Jørgensen in the so-called New Baroque style. The tower is with its 106 meters Copenhagen's tallest tower.
The Parliament has most of the castle's premises, but the Prime Minister and the Supreme Court are also housed here. In addition, large parts of the castle are made available to the Royal House, and many of the Queen's official activities take place here.
